Critter Chase: A Tablet Game for Cats and Dogs
Your pet is the player. Glowing critters dart across the screen like real prey, and your cat or dog catches them with a tap of the paw.
How pets play
Lay the tablet flat, start a session and let your pet go. Bees buzz, mice scurry and fish swim across the screen. When your pet taps one, it pops with a little burst and another appears. The game gets a bit busier as your pet improves, then resets so it never becomes frustrating.
Colors pets actually see
Dogs and cats don't see color the way people do. They see blues and yellows well and struggle with reds and greens. Every Critter Chase critter is drawn in yellows, creams, whites and blues, with strong brightness contrast against the background. A "see it like your pet" preview shows owners what their pet sees.
Built for owners too
- Session timers of 3, 5 or 10 minutes, or no limit.
- A pet-proof lock: hold the button for two seconds to open the owner menu.
- Choose one, two or three critters at a time, or let the game adjust automatically.
- Works offline, shows no ads and collects no personal data.
Safe screen time tips
Keep sessions short, always supervise, use a screen protector and end with a real toy so your pet gets a satisfying "catch". Critter Chase is enrichment, not a babysitter.

Frequently asked questions
Can cats and dogs really play a tablet game?
Yes. Cats and many dogs chase fast-moving shapes. Critter Chase moves its critters like prey and uses the colors and contrast pets see best, so they tap the screen with a paw or nose.
Will my pet scratch the screen?
Cats can scratch, so we recommend a screen protector and trimmed nails, and always supervising play. Most pets tap gently once they learn the game.
How much does it cost?
A free starter set is included. Critter Chase Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks every critter and ground plus a new item every month. Final pricing will be announced at launch.
When does Critter Chase launch?
Critter Chase is planned to launch in January 2027 on iPad and Android tablets. Leave your email to hear the day it's out.
