Privacy first
No ads in our kids' and pet games, no selling data, and no tracking we don't need. When an app needs your data to work, we say exactly what and why.
Built for everyone
Accessibility is part of the design from day one, from sound and spoken cues to big touch targets and strong contrast.
Made in Los Angeles
A small, independent team in Southern California, designing for players across the US first, then the world.
About Fernbolt
Fernbolt is an independent mobile game and app studio based in Los Angeles, California. The name joins two ideas we care about: the fern, something that grows steadily and lasts, and the bolt, the spark of a good idea and the speed of a great app.
We build focused products instead of one app that tries to do everything. A learning game for toddlers, a game for cats and dogs and a tax tool for freelancers have different users and different rules, so each one gets its own brand, its own design and its own care. Fernbolt is the studio behind all of them.
Our games and apps are built to be fast, easy to understand and honest about what they do. We test with real families and pets, and we keep improving after launch.
